Details:Located in Beijing, company specializes in the design and manufacture of Class I and II low- and medium-pressure vessels (excluding cryogenic vessels). To automate their pressure vessel production process, our client introduced our Cylinder Coil Pipe Auto Welding Equipment for welding stainless steel workpieces. These workpieces range in diameter from 1000–4300 mm, length not exceeding 12000 mm, wall thickness 3 mm, coil spacing ≤ 25 mm, and a maximum weight of 80 tons. As large, thin-walled structures, they require extremely high standards for welding deformation control and consistent forming.

Located in Beijing, company specializes in the design and manufacture of Class I and II low- and medium-pressure vessels (excluding cryogenic vessels).
To address the structural characteristics and process requirements of these workpieces, we tailored a dual-gun TIG welding synchronous welding solution. The system's core utilizes the heavy-duty welding fixture WHJ5040 to ensure stable clamping and precise rotation of large workpieces. Equipped with two Baonuoyang FT-501 TIG welding power supplies, it enables simultaneous symmetrical welding with two welding guns, effectively balancing welding heat input, suppressing workpiece deformation, and nearly doubling welding efficiency.
To ensure controllable welding quality throughout the entire process, the system integrates a high-definition welding monitoring unit, focusing in real-time on the weld pool and surrounding area. Operators can clearly observe the flowability, morphological changes, and fish-scale pattern formation process of the weld pool on the display screen, enabling precise adjustments to welding parameters to ensure uniform and aesthetically pleasing weld formation and stable and reliable internal quality.
The successful implementation of this system has achieved full automation of the entire process from workpiece clamping, positioning, welding to monitoring. While ensuring consistent welding quality, it has significantly improved production efficiency, providing powerful equipment and technical support for customers undertaking large-scale, batch pressure vessel manufacturing tasks.
