Details: A Malaysian pressure vessel manufacturer, seeking to address production efficiency bottlenecks and improve welding quality, commissioned our company to design an automated welding system. The client's workpieces are made of stainless steel, with diameters adjustable according to equipment conditions, and require high weld strength and uniformity.
To meet these needs, our company designed a multi-functional automated welding machine capable of horizontal, vertical, and circumferential welding. The system employs advanced welding technology, achieving single-sided welding with double-sided forming on stainless steel workpieces with thicknesses of 3–12mm without beveling, resulting in uniform and dense weld appearances and internal quality meeting relevant standards.
The core components of the equipment include:
Precision welding crossbeam and back-gas shielding crossbeam: Ensuring adequate argon gas protection on the back side during welding to prevent oxidation;
Active welding roller frame and mechanical anti-deviation mechanism: Ensuring stable rotation of the cylinder and precise, consistent weld trajectory;
Multi-axis linkage welding torch adjustment system: Supporting real-time fine-tuning of the welding torch posture to adapt to different welding positions;
High-performance welding power supply and integrated control system: Achieving precise matching of welding parameters and automated process management. After the equipment is put into use, the welding process becomes highly automated, stably replacing the workload of 6-8 skilled welders. This significantly improves production efficiency while effectively reducing labor costs and quality fluctuations, providing strong support for customers to enhance their market competitiveness.
