PholarWeld announced its successful participation in the 29th Beijing Essen Welding & Cutting Exhibition (BEW 2026). This exhibition, the largest and most influential technical exchange platform in the welding and cutting industry, was held in Shenzhen from June 29th to July 2nd, 2026. PholarWeld showcased its advanced automation technology at booth 72103 in Hall 7H, attracting many visitors with its impressive single-sided welding with double-sided forming and one-shot penetration.

At this Essen trade fair, PholarWeld specially transported two automated welding equipment from Wuxi to the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center, attracting professional visitors from all over the world to observe and inquire. The exhibition area and negotiation area were constantly crowded with people, and technical engineers and sales staff were constantly introducing and explaining to customers.

1. Automatic Circular Seam Welding Machine

This welding machine, developed by PholarWeld for circumferential welding in the manufacture of pipes, storage tanks, and pressure vessels, enables single-sided welding with double-sided forming without beveling for pipes ranging from 3mm to 16mm thick (using plasma welding technology). For thicker pipes, single-sided welding with double-sided forming can also be achieved with only a small beveling. The arc is stable during welding, the weld formation is aesthetically pleasing, and the flaw detection pass rate can reach over 98%, fully demonstrating its application value in industries such as petroleum, chemical, food, and pharmaceuticals.

2. Robotic Submerged Arc Welding System

In response to the desire of many customers to automate the manufacturing of heavy steel structures and large equipment, PholarWeld developed this coarse wire submerged arc welding robot. It breaks through some of the limitations of traditional submerged arc welding, combining the flexibility of robots with the deposition technology of submerged arc welding, greatly improving welding speed and quality. It can be applied to the production and manufacturing of ships, bridge steel structures, energy equipment and other fields, greatly shortening the production cycle and reducing labor costs.
